| UMaine Corporate Affiliates was founded in 1995 as a way to link businesses and industry with The University of Maine. Over the past year, UMaine Corporate Affiliates has undergone a process to evaluate the effectiveness of its services and offerings to create a more valuable program to its members. As a result of this process, business and community leaders have emphasized the importance of building a real, working partnership that will enhance the capacity of The University of Maine to play a significant role in Maine's economic development and to provide more opportunities for its students.
